This travel back in French history will let you discover how much the 15 years of Napoleon’s government has deeply transformed France with many aspects still occurring nowadays in politics, judiciary, and urbanistic maters.

 The visit is also about linking Emperor Napoleon with the Sun-King, as Louis XIV has built the Invalides buildings, St Louis Church and finally the Dôme church where are now buried Napoleon, his brothers, and son.

After the visit, you can stay longer with the same entrance ticket to discover one of the largest Army museums in Europe as well as the « Historial museum » dedicated to Charles de Gaulle, another famous French figure of contemporary history…



Meeting Point 

Meet your guide outside of Metro Invalides entrance (Lines 8, 13, and RER C) to walk with him, as on an Imperial march, to the Invalides buildings, passing by the Army Museum where you could access in, after our tour, with the same entrance ticket!
