Admire the triumphant Place Vendôme and the expansive Place de la Concorde at the end of the Champs-Élysées. See the iconic columns of La Madeleine, the complex of buildings of the Ecole Militaire, and the museums and monuments of Les Invalides. Experience the sidewalk café culture of St. Germain-des-Pres. Enjoy ample photo stops along the way.

Then, continue with a walking tour of the Notre Dame de Paris and Marais district, including the famous Place des Vosges.

Le Marais is one of the oldest central districts of Paris, where the notable used to live when the kings of  France were staying not far away at Le Louvre. Part of our tour is to re-discover this fatuous past through several of the magnificent residences that remain nowadays. Whilst your guide will tell you incredible stories of this glorious past, you will also spot, to come back later, shops of this very trendy area, pastries of the famous Jewish streets or bars of the not less famous nightlife gay neighborhood.

Transfer to artistic Montmartre for a walking tour of Place du Tertre. Watch the pavement artists at work and look at the white, wedding-cake basilica of the Sacré Coeur.

You will learn about the martyrs of the Roman period, about the Middle Ages when the mount was the property of Abbesses while vineyards staged along the sides and while the church Saint-Peter was their conventual chapel, that of the Renaissance when came Ignace de Loyola and Francisco de Javier to establish the Society of Jesus, the chapel of Martyrium which saw them praying always exists.

And we can speak also about the construction of the Basilica of the Sacre Coeur the house of painters, writers, and of all kinds of artists, without forgetting the big time of mills and cabarets extending from 1860 till 1914.
